WASHINGTON – Committee on House Administration Chairman Gregg Harper (R-Miss.) and Ranking Member Robert Brady (D-PA) issued the following statement on the passing of Matthew McClanahan, an Architect of the Capitol employee:

“Our congressional community mourns the loss of one of our own following today’s accident on the Capitol Grounds.  Matthew McClanahan was a dedicated employee in the Maintenance Division of the Capitol Grounds, and our Committee joins the entire Architect of the Capitol team in offering his family, especially his wife, Lauren, and children, Evie and Matthew, our prayers and deepest sympathies.”
