Lungren Applauds Appointment of Rep. Candice Miller to Serve as Chairwoman of House Administration in 113th Congress

WASHINGTON – Today, Committee on House Administration Chairman Dan Lungren, R-Calif., issued the following statement regarding the Speaker’s appointment of Rep. Candice Miller, R-MI, to serve as Committee chair for the 113th Congress:

“I congratulate Congresswoman Miller on her appointment as Chairwoman of the Committee on House Administration. Her prior service on the Committee as well as her tenure as Michigan Secretary of State will be invaluable assets as she assumes the challenges and responsibilities as the next Chairwoman. I applaud Speaker Boehner on making this important decision and I wish Congresswoman Miller all the best as she takes on this new task with Ranking Member Robert Brady, who I have had the distinct pleasure of working alongside in a respectful and effective manner.”
