WASHINGTON – Today, Committee on House Administration Chairman Dan Lungren, R-Calif., issued the following statement regarding the Speaker’s appointment of Rep. Candice Miller, R-MI, to serve as Committee chair for the 113th Congress:

“I congratulate Congresswoman Miller on her appointment as Chairwoman of the Committee on House Administration. Her prior service on the Committee as well as her tenure as Michigan Secretary of State will be invaluable assets as she assumes the challenges and responsibilities as the next Chairwoman.
