Rep. Vern Ehlers (R-Mich.), Ranking Republican Member of the Committee on House Administration, released the following statement today following House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-Calif.) announcement that Congressman Robert Brady of Pennsylvania had been named Chairman of the Committee on House Administration. Brady's appointment follows the passing of the late Committee Chairwoman Juanita Millender-McDonald (D-Calif.).

"I am most pleased with the Speaker's decision to appoint Representative Brady as Chairman of the Committee on House Administration. I have had the pleasure of working beside him on this Committee, both as Chair and Ranking Member, and I admire him. I look forward to continuing our successful relationship as this Committee works on the many issues requiring our attention."
