Chairman Miller expresses gratitude to House Chief Administrative Officer Dan Strodel for nearly three decades of service

WASHINGTON – Today, Committee on House Administration Chairman Candice Miller, R-Mich., issued the following statement on the retirement of U.S. House of Representatives Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Dan Strodel:

"I want to express my sincere gratitude to Dan for his outstanding work on behalf of this institution and its nearly ten thousand employees. Tapped by both Democratic and Republican Leaders, since 2010, Dan has successfully managed the support services of the House by implementing critical IT modernization projects, improving House operational transparency and restoring the House's good financial standing.

"For nearly three decades, Dan has worked for various House offices and officers in multiple capacities for the betterment of our operational efficiency, transparency and safety. I thank him for his service and wish him in the best in his future endeavors."

Dan Strodel will serve as the House CAO until the conclusion of the first session of the 113th Congress.
