WASHINGTON – The Committee on House Administration’s Ranking Member, Vern Ehlers, R-Mich., issued the following statement on the passing of Chairwoman, Rep. Juanita Millender-McDonald:
WASHINGTON — Last night, the Committee on House Administration’s Ranking Member, Vern Ehlers, R-Mich., appointed Representative Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., to serve on the Congressional Task Force that will investigate the contest between Democratic candidate Christine Jennings and Republican incumbent Representative Vern Buchanan, R-Fla.
The Joint Committee on the Library will meet on Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at 2:15 p.m., in S-115 to conduct its organizational meeting for the 110th Congress. Immediately following that event will be the Joint Committee on Printing organizational meeting at 2:30 p.m., also in S-115.
In accordance with federal law and House rules and regulations, please ensure that all unsolicited mass communications produced by your office are submitted to the Franking Commission for approval prior to dissemination.
All House offices are reminded that the First Quarter Mass Mail Report for 2007 is due on April 16, 2007. Information from the Mass Mail report, which details the total number of pieces mailed during the quarter and the total cost of those mass mailings, will be published in the Quarterly Statement of Disbursements of the House.
