WASHINGTON - As first reported by Fox News today, Committee on House Administration's Subcommittee on Oversight Chairman Barry Loudermilk (GA-11) requested that Alyssa Farah Griffin, former White House Director of Strategic Communication, hand over various communications in connection to her role coordinating between the Select Committee and Cassidy Hutchinson prior to Hutchinson's public testimony.

In Enough, Hutchinson states that she met Farah Griffin at her Georgetown row house in April 2022, seeing her for the first time since December 2020. "[Alyssa Farah Griffin] had encouraged me to join her, an invitation I had ignored. Now I was reconsidering, and I needed her help. But was it too late?"

Hutchinson also claims that Farah Griffin and she “talked over [her] options, and [Farah Griffin] agreed to contact Liz Cheney on [her] behalf about scheduling another interview [with the Select Committee].”

Farah Griffin continues, "Liz will probably ask for a few things you wanted to talk about before she agrees to do another interview...Cassidy, if we do this, you must promise me you'll be forthcoming. If Liz agrees, this will be your only shot at a second chance."

Due to Farah Griffin's influence on Hutchinson's drastic change in testimony to the former Select Committee on January 6, Chairman Loudermilk is auditing her actions surrounding the January 6 Select Committee, and is requesting all communications with:

  • former Vice Chair of the Select Committee Liz Cheney,
  • former Special Assistant to the President and Coordinator for Legislative Affairs Cassidy Hutchinson,
  • former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows,
  • any Secret Service agent assigned to Chief of Staff Meadows or President Trump,
  • with any representative of the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office in Georgia,
  • and more.
