COMMITTEE MARKUP & HEARING

The Committee on House Administration, led by Chairman Candice Miller (R-MI), will hold a markup and hearing on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. in Room 1310 of the Longworth House Office Building. 

First, the Committee will consider a measure to direct the Architect of the Capitol to obtain a chair featuring the logo of the National League of POW/MIA Families to be placed on display in the U.S. Capitol.

• H.R.1670, The National POW/MIA Remembrance Act of 2015

Immediately following the markup, the Committee will hold a hearing entitled:  Improving Customer Service for the Copyright Community - Ensuring the Copyright Office and the Library of Congress are able to meet the demands of the digital age.  The Committee will receive an update on the current state of management over the entire Library of Congress information technology systems, as well as how both the Copyright Office and the Library of Congress are working together to meet the demands of today’s digital age.
