WASHINGTON - Today, Committee on House Administration Chairman Bryan Steil (WI-01) sent a letter to Cisco Aguilar, Nevada Secretary of State, following recent reports regarding coding errors in files used to update the State’s voter registration history during Nevada's recent presidential preference primary. Chairman Steil has released the following statement in response to sending the letter:

"Americans deserve to have confidence in their elections, which means a transparent election system where mistakes are identified and corrected," said Chairman Steil. "I am writing to Nevada today to ensure with the November election quickly approaching that we have confidence an error like this will not occur again."
