Miller Welcomes New & Returning GOP Members of the Committee on House Administration for 114th Congress

WASHINGTON – Today, Committee on House Administration Chairman Candice Miller (R-MI), issued the following statement welcoming the Republican Members selected by House Speaker John Boehner to serve on the Committee on House Administration for the 114th Congress:
“I welcome the new and returning Members selected by Speaker Boehner to serve on the Committee, and I look forward to working with them to assure the People’s House is run in the most efficient, cost-effective and transparent fashion, as well as ensure our system of open, free and fair elections remains at the highest level of integrity. Each Member brings unique qualifications to the table, and will undoubtedly contribute to the valuable oversight and guidance our Committee provides. The Committee has recently ended a very successful New Member Orientation program and I look forward to enhancing how we assist our new Members with adjusting to service in the House. Additionally, we will be providing training and education to help Members continue to improve their daily operations and communication with their constituents.”
As selected by House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, the returning Republican Members are:
Representative Gregg Harper, R-MS-03 (returning for a fourth term on the Committee)
Representative Richard Nugent, R-FL-11 (returning for a third term on the Committee)
Representative Aaron Schock, R-IL-18 (returning for a third term on the Committee)
New Republican Members to the Committee are:
Representative-elect Barbara Comstock, R-VA-10
Representative Rodney Davis, R-IL-13
