“We are pleased to come together in a bipartisan manner to deliver a transparent House committee funding process. With today’s resolution, we are ensuring the Committee on House Administration stays actively engaged in the committee funding process throughout the duration of the 116th Congress. Congress has a continuing responsibility to act deliberately when taxpayer dollars are at stake. This resolution exercises an important oversight role to establish accountability and transparency in committee funding.”

The Committee on House Administration, pursuant to House Rule X, clause 6a, is responsible for producing a primary expense resolution to authorize funds to each House committee, other than the Committee on Appropriations, for the payment of its expenses for the duration of the Congress.
