The U.S. House of Representatives welcomes William A. Burck as outside counsel for the House's lawsuit against President Obama.

• The House passed a resolution (H.Res.676) on July 30, 2014.
• H.Res.676 authorizes the Speaker, on behalf of the House of Representatives, to file suit against President Obama for failing to uphold his constitutional obligation to enforce U.S. law.
• Mr. Burck previously served as outside counsel for the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, United States House of Representatives v. Eric Holder, Jr.
