Washington, DC – Committee on House Administration Ranking Member Rodney Davis (R-Ill.), Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.), and Conferencewoman Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) sent a letter criticizing Speaker Pelosi for creating special accommodations, which were not widely communicated to Republicans, in order for members who recently tested positive for the coronavirus or quarantined to vote for Speaker of the House. The letter notes that this is not the first time inconsistencies with guidance directed by Speaker Pelosi have occurred and asks that House protocols be applied consistently and widely communicated to all House members.
